Staggeringly awful Biblical interpretation

Honestly, this is some of the worst interpretation I have ever seen.
However, even if we were to accept this method of interpreting this parable, isn’t it just as plausible that by not exploring other types of energy – wind, solar, etc. – we are equal to the servant who buries his talents?
Just mind-blowing.
